Eight years ago this month, we opened the doors of Totally Transformed for the first time.
The goal was simple. We wanted to help people feel more confident in themselves, with treatments that genuinely work and advice they could trust.
October 2018 feels like a long time ago now. So much has changed since then. The most important things have not.
Where it started
Totally Transformed began with a shared passion for weight loss, wellness and confidence.
Denise and Sarah, mother and daughter, had seen the same problem again and again. Many of the most effective non-surgical treatments were expensive, hard to access, and often sold without the personal support people actually needed.
So in October 2018, Denise opened a small clinic in Forest Hall, Newcastle. At the time, it was only the second clinic of its kind in the North East.
It was independent then. It is independent now. It is still family-run, and it is still in Forest Hall.
How the clinic has grown
The early days were focused on body contouring. Over eight years, the treatment range has grown with our clients' needs and with the technology available.
Today we offer a full menu of non-surgical treatments across body, face and skin, including:
- Fat freezing for stubborn areas that diet and exercise won't shift
- RF skin tightening and HIFU for firmer, smoother skin
- Ultra Tesla Body for muscle tone and strength
- Laser hair removal with 3D Trilogy Ice technology
- Microneedling and HIFU face lifting for skin quality and lift
Every one of those treatments earned its place. We only invest in technology that is clinically proven and that we would happily use on ourselves and our own family. If a machine doesn't deliver measurable results, it doesn't come into the clinic.
The clinic itself has grown too. We now have dedicated treatment rooms for body sculpting, fat freezing, facials and laser, so every client gets a calm, private space for their session.
A growing team
What started as Denise and Sarah has become a wider team of qualified, insured practitioners. Every session is delivered by someone fully trained in the treatment, and accountable for your result.
The clinic has also grown into a home for the wider businesses we've built around it, all under one roof in Forest Hall, and all run with the same standards.
Awards and recognition
We never set out to win awards. We set out to do good work for the people who walk through our door. Even so, it has been lovely to be recognised along the way:

The Fresha awards mean the most to us, because they come directly from our clients' reviews. Every one of those five-star reviews was written by a real person after a real session.
Built on loyalty and word of mouth
The best thing about eight years is the people who have been with us for most of them.
Some clients came to us in 2018 and still visit today. Many of our newest clients were referred by friends, sisters, mothers and colleagues. That kind of trust is not something you can buy with advertising. It is earned one appointment at a time.
We have seen clients through weddings, holidays, new babies, big birthdays and big life changes. Being a small part of those moments is a privilege.
What hasn't changed
The treatments have changed. The technology has changed. The team has grown. The ethos is exactly the same as it was on day one.
- Honest advice. If a treatment won't work for you, we tell you. We would rather lose the booking than sell you the wrong result.
- Bespoke treatment plans. Your body, your skin and your goals are unique. Your plan should be too.
- Never one-size-fits-all. No two clients get the same plan by default, because no two clients are the same.
That is the clinic Denise set out to build in 2018. It is still the clinic we run today.
